Beautiful
kites flutter in Bali's skies

The beauty and artistry of Ubud have attracted visitors from all
over the world ever since the 1930s, when painters Walter Spies
and Rudolph Bonnet first came to this mountain village and made

Since that time many more western artists have settled here. Dutchborn
Hans Snel and American Antonio Blanco now maintain homes and galleries
in Ubud and many Ubud painters -like I Gusti Nyoman Lempad, Ida
Bagus Made Poleng and I Gusti Ketut Kobot- have became internationally
reknown.
